There are more spots available on the square and costume contests for the Trunk-or-Treat festivities on Halloween night.The downtown party, hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation, begins at 5:30 p.m. and doesn’t end until 7:30 p.m. It’s the night when youngsters and adults, dressed in their scary best or prettiest princesses, troll around the square looking for treats and prizes.To accommodate the more than 1,000 visitors expected to appear, the chamber is registering vehicle owners and booths parking spots where they hand out their free wares.As of Thursday, there were 26 registered ...
