A Lamesa man is facing a 14-year prison stay after being found guilty on a felony drug charge during a brief trial in 106th District Court here this past week. Jurors on Tuesday found Willie Ray Rodriquez, age 39. guilty on a charge alleging possession of between one and four grams of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. The verdict came after less than one full day of testimony. Rodriquez had been indicted in 2018 on the charge alleging he possessed methamphetamine here on September of 2017.
