Justin Peterson is the Lamesa High School Class of 2023’s valedictorian and Helen Vargas is the salutatorian, school officials have announced.“I’m very blessed to have this opportunity and very glad of all the support people gave me and with how I got this far,” Peterson said.While in high school, Peterson participated in golf; Business Professionals of America; Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA); and as a member of the University Interscholastic League barbecue team.
