TAHOKA – Tahoka Independent School District (TISD) board will change its grading format from a six-week format to a nine-week format, according to information presented at the July 20 meeting of the board of trustees.
According to TISD Superintendent Torrey Price, the decision was made after polling the TISD teaching staff across all grade levels, and the consensus was that the nine-week format allows for more teaching time to get the subject matter across to students.
