A three-way race for the District 4 seat on the Lamesa City Council will be decided in a Special Election scheduled for Saturday, May 4. Rob Parker, Lydia Aguilar and Dore Evan Rodriguez are the candidates for that seat, which was vacated last month by Jason Moreno who resigned after reportedly taking a job in San Antonio. The candidate elected by registered voters who live in District 4 will serve out the remaining two years on Moreno’s unexpired term, which will end in May of 2021.
