The COVID-19 situation in Dawson County continues to worsen, with three more deaths and almost 50 new cases reported since late last week. Dawson County has now had seven residents die as a result of the virus, according to the latest information available Wednesday morning on the South Plains Public Health District’s website. Two new deaths were noted in the health district report dated last Friday, and one more was reported in the update for Monday.
