Held across the state, Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Mini Ag Institutes will offer teachers practical experience in agriculture-related concepts, and they can take away curriculum for use in their classrooms.
The Mini Ag Institutes will be a shorter version of TFB’s Summer Ag Institute and up to 16 hours of continuing education credits will be awarded.
The seminars will focus on a science lesson and highlight curriculum and resources provided by TFB.
A half-day field experience with a local farmer, rancher or ag operation will also be part of the program.
