ANDREWS – The City of Andrews is considering bringing another recreational opportunity to local residents— this one in the form of a court-type sport that is apparently gaining popularity in West Texas.
Last month, the city council discussed the prospect of providing several pickleball courts for citizens’ use. On Tuesday, Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston received approval from the commissioners court to resurface one of the country club’s tennis courts near for conversion into three pickleball courts.
