Two juveniles were taken into custody after police recovered a stolen vehicle and firearm during an incident Tuesday morning at the Stripes convenience store in the 400 block of N. Lynn Ave., according interim Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson. About 7:30 a.m. a white Ford pickup tried to leave the store when it was approached by officers but ran into another vehicle at that location, Peterson said.
