The Mesa Underground Water Conservation District could be looking at a drop of almost $10 million in taxable property values to help fund the district this year. That is according to a corrected estimate of total property values presented to the water district by Norma Brock, chief appraiser of the Dawson County Central Appraisal District. Brock is estimating the district’s total 2019 appraised values at $970.8 million and net taxable values at $961.2 million.
