After discussing budget figures and tax rates at various times over the past couple of months, members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court are scheduled to take action Tuesday to adopt both a new budget and tax rate for the 2022 fiscal year. Those votes, however, will not come until after additional discussion, public hearings and various procedural actions on both the budget and tax rate at Tuesday’s meeting. Also those other items leading up to action on the budget and tax rate is a public hearing on proposed salary increases for county officials and action to set the amount of compensation,
