Three people were taken into custody when a swarm of officers from Lamesa and Lubbock raided a Lamesa residence with a bang before sunrise Wednesday morning.
Doors and windows in the house at 1909 South 1st Street were left shattered as a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team made entry into the house about 6:35 a.m., according to Dawson County Sheriff’s Matt Hogg.
“They did make a dynamic entry,” Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson said.
Some 15-20 members of the Lubbock SWAT team were backed up by about 15 local officers from the Lamesa Police Department and Dawson County Sheriff’s office.
