Aiding an investigation by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, local police and sheriff’s officers helped serve an arrest warrant at a Lamesa residence Wednesday which reportedly resulted in the recovery of stolen property and seizure of methamphetamine.Local officers made entry into the residence in the 200 block of N. 18th Street by breaking in the door, said Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson.“We had a combined entry team of Dawson County sheriff’s officers and Lamesa police,” Peterson said.“We breached the door.
