Dawson County farmer Val Stephens was among the invited Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) leaders in attendance in Dallas for President Donald Trump’s recent roundtable with faith leaders, law enforcement and small business owners. The event, held June 11 at the Gateway Church in North Dallas, focused on race relations, policing, reopening the economy and COVID-19. “It was a really positive afternoon. I’m glad I went,” Stephens told the Press-Reporter.
