ANDREWS – Waste Control Specialists’ (WCS) longtime efforts to construct a facility for interim storage of used nuclear fuel could be tabled if proposed state legislation passes this session. State Rep. Brooks Landgraf last week filed House Bill 2692 that would prohibit the storage and disposal of highlevel radioactive waste in West Texas.
