ANDREWS – Friday was the big day – Snapshot Day – where Andrews High and other high schools revealed enrollment figures to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) for the 2022-2024 realignment process.Based on those figures, it appears the Mustangs will remain as one of the larger Class 4A schools.Andrews submitted an enrollment count of 1,216, which is 14 less than the low-end 5A cutoff last time around.Typically, the UIL raises the bar about 50 students every two years, meaning the low-end 5A cutoff will likely be around 1,280 for the upcoming realignment effort.The UIL is expected to announce the conference ...
