For the past seven years, a container filled with small American flags greets visitors to the Dawson County Cemetery.The free flags are there every Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day.They’ll be there on the porch of the cemetery office Monday morning.Memorial Days is Monday, a federal holiday honoring those who served in the military.Visitors can place the flags near the graves of their loved ones who served in the military.“We do it every year. They can pick them up and set them on loved one’s graves,” Terri Stahl, county treasurer and cemetery administrator.
