Longtime Lamesa resident and educator Nicole Singleton has been named Dawson County’s new Family and Community Health Agent with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
Singleton was approved for the post by the Dawson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday following a recommendation from Michael Clawson, AgriLife Extension district administrator at Lubbock.
“I think we’ve got an exceptional candidate,” Clawon told the commissioners court.
Singleton will fill a position which has been vacant since Courtney Levens left that job in 2016 for a similar position in Brown County.
