Everyone who works for Lamesa ISD will get a pay raise under a new compensation plan approved for the 2019-2020 school year. The plan was approved during a special called meeting held this past Wednesday, Superintendent Jim Knight said, so it could be finalized in the proposed budget for the coming school year. General pay increases will be given to teachers and librarians at 7 percent, professionals at 2.5 percent, clerical/para professionals and auxiliary at 3 percent.
