A 46-year-old convicted sex offender wanted by the state on a warrant for parole violation was arrested here last Thursday morning, according to information from Lamesa Police Chief Dale E. Alwan Jr. Mike Flores, also known as Miguel Flores, was arrested shortly before 6 a.m. at a convenience store in the 400 block of N. Lynn Ave., Alwan reported. Information from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division states that Flores, who previously resided in Lamesa, has been convicted on a number of charges.
