Seven Dawson County offices will be on the ballot for the 2020 primaries.
The filing date starts Nov. 9 and runs until Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.
Local offices which will be on the eletion ballot include Sheriff, currently held by Matt Hogg; County Attorney, held by Steven B. Payson; Precint 1 Commissioner held by Ricky Minjarez.
Others include Precinct 3 Commissioner held by Nicky Goode; Tax-Assessor/ Collector held by Sylvia Ortiz; District Attorney, held by Phillip Mack Furlow; and Constable, held by Kent Parchman.
