ANDREWS - The county’s virus test numbers are closing in on 1,000, and with those increased figures, the confirmed cases have also risen, according to Permian Regional Medical Center CEO Donny Booth.
Since Tuesday, 13 more positive tests were reported by the health department, increasing the county’s overall total to 187 confirmed cases.
As of Friday, 77 with the virus had recovered and there were 108 known active cases, which is the highest amount to date.
