The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its second annual Senior Parade for Sunday, May 23, at 3 p.m. Entries will gather at 2:30 p.m. that Sunday at Forrest Park. “We’re going to make it work,” Mize said. “There are so many school activities going on, so that’s why we chose a Sunday.” The parade is open to anyone who has a car, truck, bike or even a homemade poster to join in celebrating the soon-to-be high school graduates from Lamesa, O’Donnell, Dawson, Klondike, Sands at Ackerly and Borden County school districts. Entries do not have to sign up or contact the Chamber.
