SEMINOLE – Seminole native and business owner Cheryl Hicks was named the 2020 Citizen of the Year by the Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce. Hicks was recognized during the chamber’s banquet held Wednesday, March 24, at the Gaines County Civic Building. Also honored at the event were Elvoy Thomason, 2020 Keen-Ager of the Year, and Kristal Boullion Foster, Ambassador of the Year for 2020.
