SLATON – Slaton Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) board members discussed several ways to help boost the business in the city Feb. 17 during their regular monthly meeting.New SEDCO board member Chad Wilson presented a list of ideas for the group to pursue. Among these were citywide garage sales, a questionnaire to local businesses to see how SEDCO could help, cold calls to local businesses and possible out-of-town businesses that may want to move to Slaton, television advertising that is pro-Slaton, a possible mini-strip mall center for smaller businesses and even a dog groomer.A lively discussion was done for each item,
