A Women’s Luncheon will take place at Second Baptist Church this coming Thursday, Jan. 17, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. All ladies are welcome to attend to receive food and fellowship. Taco soup will be provided for the ladies at the monthly luncheon. This month, they are putting together “blessing bags” for the homeless. Those who attend are asked to collect gloves, toboggans, soap, wash cloths, energy bars, canned meats, toothbrushes, toothpaste, chapstick, socks, handkerchiefs, and hard candy.
