During a brief special meeting at noon Monday, Lamesa school board members unanimously agreed to contract with the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) to assist in the district’s search for a new superintendent.The search could take 30-120 days to complete, at a cost of $6,800.The bill could increase should board members decide to visit candidates’ home school districts.
