Area news BROWNFIELD – Financial practices within Brownfield Independent School District (BISD) have made significant improvements based on the latest FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) ranking. The district’s new FIRST rating was revealed during Monday’s regular meeting of the BISD Board of Trustees.
