Lamesa school board members are holding two meetings in one Thursday night.They’ll start with a 5 p.m. budget workshop session before going into a 6 p.m. regular meeting.During the budget workshop, board members will receive updates on the payroll and a review of the proposed 2024-2025 budget.Two items topping the board’s regular meeting are discussions about staff raises for the 2024-2025 school year and an interlocal agreement between the district and the City of Lamesa for School Resource Offices (SRO) for the new academic year.The school district employs licensed law enforcement officers for its campuses.
