A detection system that could point out any weapons coming onto school grounds is on the Lamesa school board’s agenda Thursday night.The board is conducting two meetings an hour a part. They are holding budget talks at 5 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. regular meeting in the district’s Central Office at 212 N.
