The boundaries of the Lamesa school system’s five single-member districts for board elections just got a new look.The school district, along with other governmental entities holding elections to fill their board seats, are required by federal law to review their voting districts after the U.S. Census every 10 years to keep up with shifts in the population.Lamesa school board members accepted recommendations from eight members of an advisory board in its selection of an option “A” map for new districts.The map was one of three proposals for changes to the new voting lines.
