After less than a year in office, Lamesa City Council member Rudy Sauseda, Jr., stepped down from his District 6 seat last week.He was elected to office after running unopposed in last May’s city council election.City council members serve three year terms.He is the second city council member to resign since last summer.Morgan Vermillion resigned from her District 1 seat last summer.
