When the weather is cooperative and the wind is light, volunteers with the Nazarene Missions Ministry come out on three Saturdays each month to sell donated items in the parking lot of an overpacked storage building at 602 N. Ave. G.Funds raised through the sale of a complete set of china dishes, shirts, blouses, pants, winter wear and shoes; knick knacks, holiday decorations, kitchen ware, books and toys go to good causes.The ministry’s rummage sales have paid for the Church of the Nazarene’s missions in Africa, church renovations in Mexico and missionary visits from Honduras.
