Santa and Mrs. Claus will be out and about at the library Thursday evening. The famous couple will be available to see visitors from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in front of the Dawson County Public Library at 511 N. 3rd Street. If the little ones are too shy to sit on Santa’s lap, they can at least partake of some sweet treats while making Charlie Brown Christmas crafts. Kids also can write Ole Saint Nick letters expressing their Christmas wishes and deposit them in a mailbox at the library’s checkout counter through Dec. 17.
