Santa is coming to town and it’s all thanks to Dawson County Sheriff Matt Hogg and Constable Tommy Flores.They’re inviting everyone to the second annual Santa and His Friends gathering from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday at the county elections office at 116 Austin Ave.There will be opportunities for the kids to tell Santa about what they want under the tree Christmas morning, along with getting their pictures taken with the Big Guy.There will also be a hot cocoa bar, candy canes, coloring contests and door prizes for the kids.Last year’s celebrations brought out hundreds of youngsters and their ...
