Sands High School’s production of “Dirt” in the Class 1A One Act Play competition this past Friday was their best of the season according to director Tana Howard.
“We were very happy with the performance we gave,” Sandlin said. “We had our best performance.”
Unfortunately, it didn’t reap the state championship that the cast and crew were aiming for during the competition, which was held this past Friday and Saturday at Corsicana.
But it did put them in the top five among the eight shows from across Texas which had qualified for the state contest through multiple rounds of competition, Howard said.
