Sales tax rebates continue to rise

It’s been a very good year for Dawson County and Lamesa as they continue their winning streak of higher monthly sales tax allocations.The rebates represent local sales taxes collected by merchants and sent to the Texas comptroller’s along with the state sales tax revenue.
