Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court agreed Tuesday to the construction of a new bathroom at the county courthouse at a cost of just over $15,000. The action came after some discussion about the need for the restroom, which will be located inside the offices of the district judge and staff on the third floor of the courthouse. “To me, its a safety issue to have those ladies (the judge’s staff) away from where your inmates are,” Precinct 4 Commissioner Russell Cox said.
