Stepping down from the bench after more than 17 years as judge of the state’s 106th Judicial District, Judge Carter Schildknecht will be feted with a retirement reception here on Saturday, Dec. 1.
Hosted by the Lamesa Bar Association, the come-and-go event is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. at the Dal Paso Museum.
The public is invited to attend.
Schildknect has served since August of 2001 as judge for the 106th Judicial District, which includes Dawson, Gaines, Garza and Lynn counties.
