Effective this week KJJT 98.5 FM, licensed to Los Ybanez, has changed its music format. KJJT had been broadcasting Texas/Red Dirt music and operated under the handle, ‘The Red Dirt Ranch’. KJJT will now operate as ‘The Wave 985’, offering a Tejano music genre. The new format will offer both classic Tejano as well as new Tejano music. The station is operated by Multimedia Southwest Communications of Lubbock and J.P. Acosta from Odessa.
