SNYDER – The fate of the former Veteran’s of Foreign Wars (VFW) property and building is a little more clearer after the Snyder City Council passed the first vote Tuesday night approving a zoning change that would allow the owners to reopen the facility as an event center. Eduardo Murillo and Nayely Cabrerapplied to change the zoning of the property from residential to commercial, but several neighboring property owners expressed concerns about the plans.
