The physical construction and testing of the solar plant in Dawson County recently were completed, according to Randall Whitestone, Head of Communications and Public Affairs at the D.E. Shaw Group. “We expect to reach commercial operation by year-end,” Whites-tone said in an e-mail to the Press-Reporter. The solar project, which is known as Project Ivory, recently was sold to D.E.
