Lamesa City Police Department Chief Josh Peterson is expected to give a report to city council members Monday regarding racial profiling. The council meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at city hall at 602 S. First Street. The council will vote on the second reading of an ordinance canceling the Feb. 27 special election for the District 3 seat and declaring Gloria Villalobos Rodriguez as the new officeholder.
