It should not take producers across the nation long to start reaping the benefits of the 2018 Farm Bill approved by Congress last week, according to Congressman Mike Conaway (R-Midland).
Speaking to the leadership of the Lamesa Cotton Growers organization here on Tuesday, Conaway said he expects President Trump to sign the bill into law before the end of the week.
Then it will not take the USDA long to start implementing the program, said Conaway, one of the chief architects of the bill through his leadership as chairman of the House Agriculture Committee.
