ANDREWS – Permian Regional Medical Center (PRMC) could receive its first supply of COVID-19 vaccine later this month, according to the hospital’s chief executive officer.
The state informed PRMC CEO Donny Booth and other hospitals that the vaccine should be available for frontline healthcare workers this month.
“I’ve heard that they will start sending hospitals the vaccine in mid-to-late December so we can vaccinate our frontline staff,” Booth noted. “It is not confirmed, but I’m pretty confident they’ll get it out to hospitals pretty quickly.”
