The Dawson ISD Board will cover principal duties and staffing needs for the next school year in another meeting this coming Monday. That meeting will take place at 7 a.m. in Dawson ISD’s board room in Welch. Dawson ISD educational consultant Johnny Tubb said the school went to a one administrator campus when it was having financial difficulties. Jeff Fleenor, current superintendent of Dawson ISD, took on the role of both principal and superintendent for the school.
