A large metal building now stands on the north side of Medical Arts Hospital as the future inoculation site for COVID-19 and regular injections, and for collecting blood samples from patients.
Deemed the COVID Annex, the 18-by-30-foot building has enough room for two patient areas. It is fully insulated and compliant with the American with Disabilities Act. All it needs now is the installation of heating and air conditioning units.
The building, situated between the hospital and the nearby clinic, is portable and can be relocated elsewhere after it fulfills its present function.
