SLATON – When people want to know what the “buzz is all about,” they don’t mean it literally. Friday Afternoon (Sept. 11), however, the buzz turned out to be real as the Slaton Police Department, EMS and others worked to contain a bee swarm in the 600 block of S. 9th St. and Division. Chief of Police Trevor Barnes said initially the call had been in reference to a bee relocator trying to move a hive from a house.
