The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, March 9 6:54 a.m. – A man reported his Chevrolet pickup hit a deer near the intersection of FM 820 and Hwy. 180 west of Lamesa. 8:18 a.m. – A collision involving a sand-hauling truck and a feed truck was reported at the intersection of FM 829 and FM 1064 northwest of Lamesa.
