The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, Feb. 16 3:45 a.m. – A female sent a text to the police department reporting she had been choked and hit by a male in the 600 block of N. Boston Ave. Police responded and arrested a male, who was taken to the county jail and was also issued a criminal trespass warning.
